Located in front of the monastery, the building’s origins hearken back to early 17th Century. The building is an example of the traditional rural Basque architecture called Caserio. Studio AU Architects carried out major refurbishing of the building following a criteria of recovering the entire original structure and highlighting the importance of its original character.
During the undergoing process of restoration, the monastic community made the choice of allocating this unobstructed and clear large space for a multi-purpose-room and gave the name of the neighbourhood in which the building was constructed: San Isidro.
